From the initial service call and service tech, the sales staff, installation crew, staff for financial assistance, post installation follow up by Justin (salesman), service staff for punch list, final building inspector meeting, and now your assistance for the energy rebate, I am totally impressed with the attention to details, level of communications, commitment to follow up, and addressing all the details through final closure of the process. I just retired from 50 years of working in the construction industry and have managed many sub contractors, but I have to state, Carolina Comfort Air has been far superior to any company I have ever managed or contracted. Not once, did I need to follow up on any one of the details or process, nor did I have to find out who had the ball, was the ball passed to someone else or who did I need to contact next. I have a 3 car garage on our new house here in Valley End and Willie quoted a my split system AC for my little work shop. He was here mid July when it was in the 100 deg. heat. We discussed the shop and my need to cool just the one area of the shop or the whole 3 car garage when needed. I had a very similar layout and size shop in California and had a 28000 BTU AC unit there. It would freeze me out even on 100+ deg. days and I loved it as I could literally knock it down to 72 deg. in a half hour. I thought I wanted that same capability here in my new shop. Well, after Willie ran the calculations, he came up with a 1 ton unit which I believe is 12,000 BTU. I thought that was not going to do well, but I really didn't want to go larger with the extra cost of that. I thought I could make do with what was recommended. Well, he was right on target with my real needs and the system is working just fine. Since you were here and we got this system installed, I have got lots of work done. Many of those days were trying to cool the whole 3 car garage with the unit. If I started it first thing in the morning, and let it run all day it would work quite well. On the 100 deg. days, it would keep it at 78 deg, and with low humidity, that was working reasonably well. I was happy with that and my AC costs are much lower than a larger unit would be. On normal days, in the low 90's or less, I can keep the whole garage at 72 to 74 deg. That works well too. Now when it's in the 70's it will maintain what ever I set it for. I now have both cars in the garage at night if I like, and have my shop area pretty well laid out and things put away where I can find my tools again. That is a big deal for me. Today, it was cool enough in the morning that I turned it on in the heat mode to see what it would do. I was very impressed with it as after several minutes of warm up time, it was putting out a lot of heat even with the fan on high. I will be very happy with that this winter... and cool fall weather coming. Thanks for your expert advice on getting me the AC unit that I needed for the job. I want to thank Travis and your entire install team for a neat and professional install of my A/C system. Charles and his crew for installing condensing unit and air handler. I like the way he routed lines from condensing unit up high along floor joist to air handler, this provides easier access in crawlspace for maintenance. He also removed Schrader valves before soldering lines to condensing unit, this prevents premature leakage at these valves in the future. Duct work was installed neat and high off the ground. First of all, I was very impressed with the way Travis conducted his inspection of my old gas pack. He looked under my house at the duct work, asked questions to determine our needs, and came back with a quote while still at my home. My daughter's system had failed and there was no heat in the house. On short notice Travis Tart came to the house, inspected the system, and gave me a very fair quote to replace the heat and ac system. He said a replacement crew would be at the house on March 3rd between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. They actually arrived at 8:05 AM! The technicians were courteous and professional. They kept me informed of their progress; worked very hard all day; and completed their work by 4:30 PM. Travis came to the house and ensured I was satisfied with the installation. We were told what the problem was and what the solutions were for us. Travis, our consultant, did not try to over sell us. He listened to our concerns and gave us our options. The replacement team (David, Wayne and Mario) did an excellent job of replacing out the heat pump. They were knowledgeable and explained their process to us. After the installation, I walked through the areas to look for any trash. It was completely clean.

Throughout they day , they were both courteous and professional. They took care of our possessions and cleaned up well after themselves. They completed the installation outdoors in total darkness. They finished the hook up of the compressor unit in a deluge of an extreme thunderstorm, working in the rain, in deep mud, with headlamps under broad umbrellas - and were cheerful to us until they were done, leaving a unit working as promised.

I just wanted to leave a comment about the nice service technician that came to our home today. Scott came to my house because we had a balance issue with the heat on my 2nd floor. It is a new home we have only been here for about 3 months. Scott was very pleasant, professional, and provided a lot of information to me regarding the importance of maintaining our units. After I discuss further with my husband we will decide about getting a maintenance plan with you all as I appreciate the knowledge that Scott has shared with me. At each stage of the process, they did what they said they would do at the time they said they would do it. Nathan explained the whole process up front, carefully laid-out our options, and did not try to push us into anything we did not need. The actual installation took a whole day, but Tim and Robert were friendly and cooperative, and worked until almost 11pm to overcome some issues that arose, and successfully complete the job that day. A very courteous man named Scott kept me informed where he was on the route and when he'd arrive. "Your company just completed an upgrade at our home. We purchased a new Trane Packaged Unit and had all new ductwork installed. First let us say - Job Well Done! And secondly, congratulations on a team of employees who represent your company very well. You should be proud of them. We decided to get estimates from about a dozen vendors when we started shopping for a new heat pump. Our existing unit was 15+ years old and we did not want to have it quit in the midst of any upcoming summer heat wave. We met with 8 vendor representatives before we met with Travis Tart.
