HELP WANTED! Our very own Nathan Drown is getting locked up… For his good behavior. He will be participating in the MDA Lock Up, benefitting the Muscular Dystrophy Association, in Jacksonville, NC on August 12, 2015. Help us free him by raising enough funds to bail him out of jail.
About the MDA Lock Up…
Every year all over the nation, community leaders agree to be locked up for their good behavior in efforts to raise funds to fight muscle diseases. These jailbirds get exactly one hour to raise enough money to meet or exceed their bail. Once bail is met they are released from “jail”. Vendors, co-workers, family and friends are invited to make donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in order to help free their local jailbird!
Where your donations go…
Your contributions go towards muscular disease treatments and cures, research, family support, life-enhancing programs and other resources to help increase the comfort and awareness of those diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy.
What your dollars buy:
- $30 = a flu shot
- $65 = 1 minute of research
- $150 = 1 physical therapy session
- $300 = work out at a clinic
- $800 = 1 child’s week at MDA summer camp
