At Carolina Comfort Air, we believe great partnerships are built on more than just logos on banners—they’re built through real relationships, shared values, and meaningful community impact.
That’s why our marketing team recently took a trip to the Triangle Aquatic Center (TAC) in Cary to meet the people behind the mission. We were welcomed by Derek Wall, Executive Director, and Hannah Aspden, Associate Director of Advancement, who gave us a full tour of the impressive facility and shared more about the powerful work happening in and out of the water.
As an ongoing sponsor of TAC, it was inspiring to see firsthand how our support helps fuel their mission: to create a lifelong pathway for swimmers of all ages and abilities, from their first lesson to the national stage.
Over the years, TAC has become one of the largest nonprofit aquatic centers in the country, and they’ve never lost sight of their purpose. Thanks to strong leadership and community partners, they’re able to:
- Teach thousands of swim lessons annually
- Provide hundreds of free Make-A-Splash water safety courses
- Award tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships
- Support the TAC Titans, one of the top swim teams in the region, led by a rare, full-time professional coaching staff
For us, the visit was a reminder that supporting TAC is about more than athletics. It’s about equity, safety, and access—giving every child the chance to build confidence, learn life-saving skills, and discover their potential.
We’re proud to continue our sponsorship of the Triangle Aquatic Center and grateful to be part of their journey. Thank you to Derek, Hannah, and the entire TAC team for the warm welcome—and for letting us see just how much heart goes into every lap.
