Two Wheels, One Community returned for 2026 as our company, Carolina Comfort Air, Gave Away 100 Bikes Across Clayton, Dunn, Sanford, Wilmington, and Jacksonville, NC.
At Carolina Comfort Air, our Two Wheels, One Community program has always been about more than just bicycles—it’s about investing in the future of our communities and creating meaningful moments for children who need them most.
What began in July 2023 as part of our company’s community outreach efforts has quickly grown into one of the most impactful traditions we’re proud to be part of each year. The mission is simple: provide deserving children with bikes and helmets while encouraging outdoor play, confidence, independence, and joy.
On May 18, 2026, Carolina Comfort Air hosted simultaneous bike giveaway events at our Clayton, Dunn, Sanford, Wilmington, and Jacksonville locations, where families gathered to celebrate a day centered around community and giving back.
This year, we received more than 400 nominations from across our service area—a powerful reminder of both the need within our communities and the incredible support this program continues to receive. After reviewing nominations, we were honored to provide 90 bikes to children in need throughout North Carolina.
Each bike represented more than a gift. For many children, it meant an opportunity to explore their neighborhood, spend more time outdoors, build confidence, and simply experience the excitement that comes with being a kid.
Our commitment to the community has continued to grow beyond the giveaway events themselves. Last year, Carolina Comfort Air expanded the program by donating bikes to 10 local libraries to support their summer reading programs—and we were excited to continue that effort again this year.
The success of Two Wheels, One Community would not be possible without the dedication of our employees, volunteers, and the communities we serve. From collecting nominations to assembling bikes and welcoming families at each location, this initiative truly reflects the heart of who we are as a company.
