We’re excited to start the new year by announcing the winner of our Oldest Heat Pump Giveaway and sharing a feel-good story from right here in our local community.
Congratulations to Mr. Jerry N. of Fayetteville, whose 29-year-old heat pump has officially been retired and replaced with a brand-new system from Carolina Comfort Air. After nearly three decades of service, Jerry’s old unit had earned its rest, and the timing of the upgrade couldn’t have been better with colder temperatures returning. With the installation complete, Jerry is heading into 2026 warm, comfortable, and worry-free.

The Oldest Heat Pump Giveaway was created as a way for us to give back to the communities we serve and thank our customers for their continued trust. We received many thoughtful entries and enjoyed hearing the stories behind systems that have worked hard for years. Choosing just one winner wasn’t easy, and we’re grateful to everyone who took the time to participate.
While we’ve experienced some unseasonably mild winter weather recently, winter isn’t over yet. As temperatures drop, older or struggling heat pumps can have a harder time keeping up, often leading to higher energy bills or unexpected breakdowns. That’s why now is a smart time to have your system checked and make sure it’s ready to handle the colder months ahead.
If your heat pump is aging, inefficient, or showing signs of wear, our team is here to help! If you think your system may be nearing the end of its life, give us a call or schedule an appointment today. We’re here to answer questions, assess your system, and help you stay comfortable as winter continues.
Thank you again to everyone who entered the giveaway, and congratulations to Jerry on his new heat pump system. We’re proud to serve homeowners across our communities and look forward to continuing to keep you comfortable in every season.
