This past weekend, the Carolina Comfort Air team was proud to sponsor and attend Pleasure Island Bike Fest in Carolina Beach, NC — a community event bringing people together around cycling while supporting an incredible cause.
The event welcomed riders of all kinds, from traditional bikes and trikes to adaptive cycles, for a day of riding around Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, local vendors, food, and festivities.
More importantly, Pleasure Island Bike Fest benefits 3 Wheel Therapy, a nonprofit dedicated to making cycling accessible to everyone. The organization provides adaptive trikes to nursing homes and day programs and offers free rides to individuals who may otherwise be unable to experience the joy of riding a bike.
More Than a Bike Festival
That mission is one of the reasons we were excited to be involved.
At Carolina Comfort Air, giving back has always been an important part of who we are. We love opportunities that get our team out from behind the trucks and into the communities we serve — especially when an event brings people together while supporting a meaningful local cause.
Our team had a great time meeting riders and families, enjoying the festival and spending the day on Pleasure Island.
Proud to Be Part of the Wilmington Community
With a Carolina Comfort Air location in Wilmington, NC, our team serves homeowners throughout the Wilmington area and surrounding coastal communities. Supporting events like Pleasure Island Bike Fest gives us another way to stay connected to the people and organizations that make this area such a great place to live and work.
Thank you to the Pleasure Island Bike Fest organizers, volunteers, participating businesses, riders and everyone who helped make the event happen. We were happy to be a small part of a great weekend!
