At Carolina Comfort Air, our Two Wheels One Community program has always been about more than just giving away bikes—it’s about creating real moments of joy, accessibility, and community care for kids who need it most. And this year, we were proud to take that mission one step further.
On May 17th, we continued our tradition of hosting bike giveaways at each of our locations—but with a meaningful new twist. As a company, we recognized that not every child who deserves a bike has the means to get to us. So instead of waiting for the kids to come to our locations, we decided to go to them.
This year, we partnered with Root Elementary School in Raleigh, NC, where we worked closely with the staff to identify students who would truly benefit from a new bike, but lacked the transportation to attend a giveaway in person.

To help bridge that gap, we loaded up our box trucks with bikes and delivered them directly to two low-income communities where many of these students live and attend Root. By bringing the bikes straight to their doors, we ensured that no child missed out, because accessibility should never be a barrier to generosity.
This delivery wasn’t just about logistics. It was about presence, connection, and showing up for our community in a real, hands-on way. Seeing the smiles, the excitement, and the gratitude from the kids reminded us exactly why we do this.

Our Two Wheels One Community program is rooted in the belief that giving back should always meet people where they are, and this year’s giveaway was a perfect reflection of that.
A huge thank-you to Root Elementary for partnering with us and helping make this moment possible. We’re proud to continue building stronger communities, two wheels at a time.
